Consultation Documents

Welcome to the consultation zone

NHS Lothian welcomes your views on strategies, policies and service redesigns that we are developing. We have various ways of involving people in these developments. One of the ways is by placing documents about the proposals here on our website.

Please look on the menu on the left to see our current consultations. We also have a section for past consultations.

Some consultations will have an online survey, but all welcome receiving your views in a variety of ways. These include by email, in writing or by phone.

The consultation closing date will be clearly stated. The next steps will also be explained, for example if a report will go to Lothian NHS Board.

If you are interested in other ways to be involved with us, please visit our Public Participation section. These include the e participation database, public partnership forums and hospital forums.

We are looking for your help in shaping the direction of citizen eHealth in Scotland.

There are a number of ways that citizens could interact with NHSScotland over the internet which could help improve their healthcare. We would like to hear views on what are seen as the most important potential benefits and considerations in this relatively new area, as well as any ways in which you already do this.

Citizen eHealth in Scotland

We would be delighted if you could help us by completing the short online survey linked to below. It should take no more than 10 minutes and data gathered will be used for statistical analysis to help inform development of the Citizen eHealth strategy for NHSScotland and for no other purpose. No personal information which could be used to link a response to an individual will be collected.

The survey will close on 31 December 2011.
